onesie, twosie, threesie, foursie

IMG_0316I used more of the very hungry caterpillar print on some tiny onesies for a baby shower this weekend! It’s going to be a girl-baby, so I steered clear of the pickles & sausages, and used lollipops, pie, and ice cream. I’ll probably end up using the rest of the fabric on more onesies for random babies I meet through the years. They’re so easy to make, and they always turn out super-cute!

I  made a few onesies for my growing nephew using left-over Very Hungry Caterpillar fabric that I bought for another baby’s room. My favorite is the pickle, since my sister and I both love pickles – hoping he’ll grow up to be just like us!

This was my first time using steam-a-seam and it couldn’t have been easier. I see a lot more of these in my future! I just went around the edge once with a straight-stitch, since I heard that using steam-a-seam prevents all fraying. I hope they hold up long enough for him to get a few wears out of them.
